| All weekend trips begin with "tenderfeet" meeting at 10:00 a.m. Saturdays at the tennis courts-athletic field in the 300 block of South Neosho Street in Council Grove, Kansas, which is a block north of Custer Oak Park. Evening campfire enertainment begins around 8:30 to 9 p.m. After an overnight rest, the wagon train sets out again Sunday morning, returning "old hands" to their vehicles around noon Sunday. Scheduled trips will proceed in all but severe weather.
